26 Weeks Letter Challenge: “Q”

The first thing that came to mind with the letter “Q” was the quince tree that my father planted in our back yard. This fruit is probably the hardest fruit I have ever encountered. Trying to bite into a quince is like trying to eat a stone. I copied the featured image from the following website, where there is an excellent description of this fruit, its history, how it is used, and how to prepare it. Check out CulinaryLore.com.
