Today I want to showcase some beautiful “moving windows”. In particular, the moving windows in a restored 1947 Studebaker found in the presidential library/museum for President George H. W. Bush. This is a car similar to the one used to transport George and his family from Connecticut to Texas, where he became involved in the oil drilling industry.
I took pictures from both the back and the front of the car. Notice how both the back and the front windows are made in two pieces with framing down the middle. When was the last time you saw this in a car on the road?
Actually, when was the last time you saw a Studebaker on the road?
