Morning in North Carolina in the middle of summer can be hot and dry. If you want to maintain a green lawn, you need to water at least every other day. For the really dry spells you need to water every day.
I love the way that the water from the sprinklers catches the morning sun.
I also took this picture of our Crape Myrtle at the same time.
This side of the house is shielded from the morning sun, but gets drenched in sunlight in the afternoons.

You are so right! I drive by a large distribution center on my way to work. When their sprinklers are on and the sun is just right, it’s mesmerizing. Greta photos!

Thanks, Dan. There is something about sun and water that can be so mesmerizing. And that means any form of water from a single drop to an entire ocean.
