Here is this week’s entry for Becca Givens’ On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea blog challenge Sunday Trees. This picture was taken in July of 2006 in Juneau, Alaska.
There really wasn’t any noticeable wind that day as you can see by the calmness of the bay in the background. However, the trees have a permanent bend from being in an almost constant, single direction, windy environment. If you look closely, you can also see that the trees are loaded with pine cones.
