Here is a short poem I wrote after being inspired by a series of haiku poems from Victoria C. Slotto, Author
Season Changing
Wax Winged wonder,
Perched above,
Seeking dinner’s
Treasure trove.
Late fall thunder,
Rumbling loud,
Warns of winter
In the grove.
Rain pools under,
Leaves so proud,
Hiding wood
For winter stove.
Season changing,
Life flows on,
Re-arranging
All we love.
So glad you posted this, Charles. It’s lovely.
