I think all plant life is Vegetal. Here is a picture of some unknown plant growing in a field in Haw River State Park in Browns Summit, North Carolina. You can see another stand of the same plant in the left background. These plants bow in the wind and are really quite attractive in their native setting.
Interesting little bush.
