The “little engines that could” on the Panama Canal. The tracks alongside the locks allow these little engines to pull ships from one lock to the next. They can operate in either direction. The picture was taken from our veranda balcony. You can see the railing from the deck below ours at the bottom of the photo.

I must admit (probably due to my eyesight) I thought the first picture was a toy as in those cute cartoon toys by the second I realized it wasn’t and in the end, found it delightful. tyvm

Thanks, Cee. I loved the turntable between the locks to move the engines from side to side. I have some nice shots looking down on some of the workers that I might feature in the future.
