This week I want to go back to our Greensboro first annual Veterans Day parade for a photo of a bearded Vet that really had a great deal of character brought on by texture. Let me know what you think (don’t miss the eyebrows).
As always, you are welcome to join this weekly challenge by going to Narami’s blog ‘De Monte Y Mar‘ and follow the instructions. This is a great opportunity to hone your photographic eye by exploring texture in your shots.
Good portrait.
The detail of the smart clothing and the carefully tended beard highlights the continuing character and dignity of a man who just ‘keeps on keeping on’

Tweeted early but I’m late for comments this week. This is an amazing portrait shot, I asume, in movement. What lens were you sporting?
Thanks for sharing your image in Tuesdays of Texture, your work is a joy.

The car was crawling along in the parade. I have a Canon EOS RebelT3 with an 18-135mm zoom lens.
