Here in North Carolina we were just north of the Total Solar Eclipse path. We had 95% coverage of the sun by the moon. We also had 80% coverage of the sky by clouds because of a popup thunderstorm that appeared one hour prior to the our closest point to totality.

It can be a very big deal with clear skies in the path of totality. The stars come out and the birds go quiet.

Seems your view of the eclipse eclipsed ours, hehe. The sky darkened for four or five seconds and the air cooled for a couple of hours, but other than that, I had to look at FB to see pictures. I thought yours were some of the best I’ve seen. Thank you for sharing. The twins are adorable. I’m a twin so I know how much fun that can be hehe.
