I decided to avoid the normal reflective water scene and go with a landscape of the Shenandoah Valley taken from Skyline Drive in Virginia. The fall colors were unusually muted this year because of the weather, so I enhanced the red a little to bring out the fall feeling.

I liked the setting for this beautiful tree protecting one of the many roadside pull-offs where you could stop to see an overview of the valleys below.
